SUMMARY

 

The Oracle Fusion Cloud System Administrator will serve as the key technical resource responsible for maintaining and supporting all aspects of the Oracle Fusion Cloud system consisting of ERP, SCM, CRM, PLM, CPQ & FAW applications. The candidate should have a broad business background, good interpersonal communications skills, strong Oracle technical skills, and a thorough understanding of Oracle Fusion cloud applications.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Lead business in planning, implementing, customizing, managing, and deploying of Oracle Fusion Cloud system consisting of ERP, SCM, CRM, PLM, CPQ & FAW applications.
  • Capture functional and technical requirements from functional teams and translate business requirements to Oracle requirements identifying the best solution.
  • Function as the primary point of contact for all issues related to Oracle Fusion cloud system requirements and process flows.
  • Partner with internal staff, third-party consultants, and Oracle on service requests, enhancement projects, new application deployment and new system implementations.
  • Monitor Oracle Fusion cloud system application performance and architecture and maintain the system reliability, integrity, and recoverability.
  • Manage and maintain Oracle Fusion cloud system application configurations, security, environment types, integrations, scheduled tasks, and quarterly upgrades.
  • Maintain and update user security and roles within Oracle Fusion cloud security.
  • Lead Oracle Fusion quarterly system updates, evaluate update impact on business system, manage maintenance schedule and work with functional leaders to ensure testing and signoff is completed.
  • Maintain Oracle Fusion system business continuity and disaster recovery processes.
  • Key technical resource responsible for developing FAW,OTBI & BI reports and supporting other IT team members in report development.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • For consideration, the candidate should have a broad business background, good interpersonal communications skills, strong Oracle technical skills and a thorough understanding of Oracle Fusion cloud applications including ERP, SCM, CRM, PLM, CPQ & FAW.
  • 5+ years of experience leading full Oracle Fusion cloud system implementation projects involving requirements, design, testing and roll-out.
  • 3-5 years of experience in administering full Oracle Fusion cloud system including managing application configurations, security and development.
  • 3-5 years of experience with business process workflows, process designs, database architecture, functional/technical design specifications, software development, data conversions, transformation, and data migration and business data management.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC, IT Change Control processes, Deployment Methodologies and Application Server Life Cycle Management.
  • Demonstrates experience in multiple business processes, ability to design technology solutions and manage cross functional teams, projects, vendor management.
  • Ability to lead Oracle Fusions cloud system solution development including planning, designing, implementing, integrating, testing, documenting and implementing.
  • Willingness to train internal staff, and partner with third-party consultant and Oracle to solve system issues, develop enhancements, coordinate system updates and maintenance, deploy new Oracle cloud applications and implement new Oracle cloud systems.

  • Oracle Cloud: ERP, SCM, PLM, CPQ, OCI, FAW, PaaS
  • Oracle Project Management Cloud, Certified Implementation Professional
  • Oracle Risk Management Cloud, Certified Implementation Professional

 

EDUCATION

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

 

Spends 90% of time in an office environment.  Spends 10% of time in shop environment.  May be exposed to potential shop hazards including high noise, fumes, heavy machinery and shop traffic.  Some exposure to potential travel hazards.
