Physician Opportunity

 

Position Summary:

Liberty Resources, Inc. is seeking a Board-Certified Physician for our newly designated Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located at 1045 James St. Syracuse NY. We are seeking a Physician to share in our Vision for delivering high quality healthcare in our integrated primary care and behavioral healthcare practice. The Physician will play a pivotal role in impacting quality care through providing primary care services.

Liberty is designated as a Certified Community Behavioral Health organization, one of only 62 dually certified CCBHC and FQHC’s in the Nation.  This affords our Clinical Staff an opportunity to help transform care delivery in a highly supportive and integrated system of care.  These designations also allow for a richly reimbursed delivery system. This allows practitioners to focus on patient care instead of service volumes. We have both a strategic Vision and Plan for growth. The position is based in our Clinics at 1045 James St. Syracuse.

 

Compensation and Benefits: We offer a highly competitive compensation package including:

  • Base compensation: $225,000 to $300,000.DOE.
  • Employer match 401(K), tax advantaged 457(b) retirement plan, and supplemental retirement program for highly compensated individuals.
  • 4 weeks paid vacation with 8 days paid personal leave plus accumulated sick leave.
  • Paid time off for CME and full reimbursement for required CME.  Additional paid continuing education benefits as part of the Leadership team for professional development and continuing medical education with employer paid expenses.
  • Employer reimbursed Malpractice Insurance, License fees and Medical Society Dues.

 

Responsibilities:

 

    • Deliver comprehensive medical services to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care needs.
    • Collaborate with behavioral health team members to provide integrated care for patients with co-occurring medical and behavioral health conditions.
    • Demonstrate clinical leadership and serve as a role model for evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
    • Participate in regular case conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care plans for complex patients.

 

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or medicine/pediatrics.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in NYS.
  • Interest in integrated care models and experience working collaboratively with behavioral health providers preferred.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and advocating for the needs of underserved populations.
